Raised on the beaches of Perth, Charlotte has spent much of her childhood travelling to faraway destinations. Naturally she chose a line of work that would take her to all parts of the globe and in the past 16 years Charlotte has worked as a makeup artist and tended to the faces as of some of the world’s most beautiful women for publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Madison and UK Glamour. Working mostly in tropical locations such as the Maldives, Vietnam, Fiji, Bali, Thailand and the Mediterranean coastline, Charlotte has been inspired by the cultures of these regions.

The Lotus flower used throughout Charlotte’s range is a symbol of purity and new beginnings, it is central to the cultures Charlotte admires most and represents the philosophy of By Charlotte.
